U heeft de petitie ongetwijfeld zien langskomen op social media: de petitie vanuit de World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) om biljarten Olympisch te krijgen. Als aanvullende sport dus, bij de Olympische Spelen in Parijs, en in samenwerking met de Fédération Française de Billard (FFB) van het organiserende land.
Toen wij een aantal weken geleden hier aandacht voor vroegen op social media, was de petitie getekend door 3300 mensen. Inmiddels staat de teller op 9400!

The World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) is running a campaign to prove the worthiness of billiard sport to the International Olympic Committee.
On the 21st of March, 2018, The WCBS officially presented to the IOC the candidacy of billiards as an additional sport to the Paris Olympic Games 2024 in full cooperation with the host country’s Fédération Française de Billard (FFB)
